Tech Prep CIS Systems, Operations & College Credits
The rapid growth of computer technology has created an increased demand for skilled personnel. The ACJVS Tech Prep Computer Information Systems (CIS) program is designed to prepare students for high technology careers by blending academics and technical subjects that emphasize problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Students will learn computer programming, computer software applications, accounting applications, hardware organizations, and systems.
The ACJVS Tech Prep CIS program prepares students for entry-level employment in the computer field. Students completing this program may also be eligible to receive up to seven college credits.
Some students may prefer to enroll in the lab portion only, and take academic courses at their home school. Students who choose this option must provide their own transportation.
