Vocational Readiness Program

The Vocational Readiness Program at the ACJVS is designed for students that are at least 16 years old, have attempted 9th grade, and have credit deficiencies. The program is one-year in length and is designed to prepare students to enter a two-year career and technical program upon completion.

Students are exposed to a variety of career areas such as carpentry, small engines, electricity, welding, and horticulture. In addition, students also attend academic classes designed to help the students meet their graduation requirements.
