Beauty Services Professionals
The award-winning ACJVS Cosmetology program prepares students to become licensed beauty service professionals specializing in hair, nail and skin care.
Students are taught in a fully licensed clinic approved by the State of Ohio, and learn a high level of sanitation as well as, how to cut, color and style hair, manicuring, pedicuring, acrylic nails, wigs, extensions and facials. The course covers all aspects of professional beauty services and prepares students for the Ohio State Board Cosmetology License examination.
The Cosmetology curriculum also includes client relations, salon management, good employability habits, and small business ownership skills.
ACJVS Cosmetology students also have the opportunity to expand their horizons and make a name for themselves before they graduate by participating in competitions
