Assessment

        What is Assessment?

The purpose of the ACJVS assessment center is to provide service to the student that will give information in planning for the future.  The work evaluator views the individual as a worker.  This is a unique perspective. The assessment process is designed to promote realistic matching of interests and skills. We believe that all individuals have the potential for vocational success. The results of this evaluation are not to be construed as a recommendation for a specific program at ACJVS, but where the student may be successful.

        What happens at Assessment?

The student spends a day at ACJVS in the assessment center where they do a series of tasks, both written and hands on. This determines where they have the strongest aptitutes.
