Apprenticeship Programs

The ACJVS Workforce Development Office offers four apprenticeship programs which are approved through the U.S. Department of Labor, including Tool & Die, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, and Plastics Process Technician.

All apprenticeship programs are three to four years in length and require a minimum of 144 hours of study each year.

Students completing a minimum of 576 hours of related training and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training from their sponsor employer will receive their state journeyman's card from the Ohio Department of Labor. Both men and women are encouraged to participate.

Programs include: Machinist/Tool & Die Maker, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, Welding & Fabrication Certification and Plastics Process Technician.
